HSD TAG Vision

The Hillsboro School District, in collaboration with parents and community, will recognize and actively support gifted and high potential students so they may achieve academic and personal excellence in a rigorous and relevant learning environment.

TAG at Evergreen

At Evergreen Middle School, we meet the needs of TAG students through in-class opportunities laid out in TAG course descriptions, differentiation strategies (vertical and horizontal), cluster grouping, and Honors extension opportunities within core academic content classes (math, science, language arts and social studies). To learn more about the honors extension, please read the course syllabus for each core academic class and have your student check with their teacher(s) for additional extension assignments.

If you are a parent or student who is interested in TAG identification or if you have further questions about TAG at the secondary level, please contact one of the Evergreen TAG co-liaisons:
